t, he is no threat to society now and should be allowed to die in peace at home. I also feel that we are extremely overspending on the prison lifestyle. Why should our taxes pay for these people to have a telly in their room or three meals a day, esp when some people are living in poverty, on the street and our men who are fighting in IRaq and Afghanistan get less money spent on their food rations than criminals/murderers etc get spent on their food in prison. Its digusting!!!!!

When the Spanish governement tried to convince the English authorities to let us judge Pinochet they believed the joke that he was nearly dying. Back at home he got up the wheelchair and started walking... Sentences should be followed until the very end, criminals should stay in prison until the do their time; they should be made earn their food and there should be a massive cut in their television, air conditioning and most of the commodities we tax payers cannot afford to have ourselves.

Ronald Biggs committed a crime and escaped to Brazil for many years. he thumbed his nose at the British Justice System while he was there. When he became ill and had lost his money, he decided to come back to England so that the country (we tax payers) could pay for his medical care. If he wants us to pay for him (when he has not made any contribution to this country at all) he should stay in jail. If his family want him to be allowed to stay in a care home, they should pay the costs.

Keep him locked up. We are too soft on criminals. A sentence should not depend on how fit you are, it should fit the crime.
