I think most of these panalists need to read the Bible. It will tell you all you need to know about the moralities of suicide....

Everyone missed the point about President Blair. The disgraceful fact is that we are having a President foistered on us without an election. We have no say in the matter. We are now slaves.

Every where i look these days there is a statue or act of Parliment that prevents or penalizes us in many ways.I have found that we follow these rules because we have been hood winked into thinking they are law. If you understand the Magna Carta 1215, Bill of rights 1688 all this over protective nannying by the state will go away. A program regarding the current law, the people who impose it and the truth about our rights would be beneficial and educational to most Britians

I would like to express disatisfaction, at the general reaction to a point expressed by one member of the audience, who was angered by the number of people who blatantly choose not to work, paid for by the working populus. I supported what the gentleman was trying to say. Why should people go to work to fund the recreational lifestyles of so called "vulnerable members of society." This issue warranted further discussion in the light of valuable air time wasted on tony blair.

Politics and the world around us forms such an important point for discussion, that even an hour a week of question time is not nearly enough. Why then, must Question Time break for six weeks, just because our kids go on holiday?

You have Trisha on the show, yet you never have Jeremy Kyle on the panel? He dominates weekday mornings and speaks more sence than she does.

Well looks like I owe Trisha Goddard an apology - she wound up being articulate and well informed on the latter topics. Will mind what I say next time and wait till I've seen the whole show. I based it on what I'd seen of her on tc previously. You live and learn.

It is odd that there is discussion on whether Ton y Blair should be European President when it can only be a matter of time when he and his friend from across the pond will be found guilty of war crimes.

We have every right to defend or country as do they. It's up to our Government to provide our troops with the tools to do so. And it's also up to our Government to protect us from swine flu and start to be proactive and stop telling the public it's just like the normal flu! Bad move guys! Lynn Asken Glasgow

As an Irish person living in Britain for over 13 years, paying taxes and abiding by British Law - I am completely offended by Lionel's remarks regaring "the Irish" voting against the presidency issue. People like this idiot are supposed to be admired ... I think not.

Who are the other 38 countries taking part in the Afgan war, and where are their troops, and how many deaths have they suffered between them, not as many as GB I bet.

Why on earth is Trisha Goddard on the programme? She is ignorant, dull and represents trashy tablod style tv - is she there to try and attract her viewers in a hope they might join a political debate rather than watching people air their problems on tv for the delight of daytime tv viewers? Good luck with that one.

In 2006, it was said that we were going to Afghanistan to destroy the source of 90% of the world's heroin. Heroin funds the Taliban's activities, which is the real reason why the fight in Helmand is so ferocious. There is a worldwide shortage of opiate in the medical industry. Why don't we simply buy the crops off the Afghan farmers and resolve both problems?

This may be a simplistic idea, but why can't we bring all our troops home and have them protect our borders instead of fighting inwinnable wars all over the world. Our island should be much easier to defend than enormous countries which border on other hostile countries.
