If the post of the EU’s first president is created, is Tony Blair really a suitable candidate?

I was shocked that your panel was prepared to consider Blair as a suitable candidate. Even Tricia (much the most interesting member) did not seem too bothered. it took a young girl in the audience to express the sheer moral indignation so many of us feel that the man who committed our soldiers, many now dead and many more grievously wounded, to a war based on a lie. The Hague, not Brussels, is where I look forward to seeing Mr Blair take his place in Europe.

Should not the U.K. be part of the EuroZone before a Brit is the E.U. President, like the other E.U. countries?
Anyway, Tony Baloney's current key credentials:
1. Murderer /War Criminal (Serbia, Iraq, Afghanistan)
2. Steered U.K. into the current recession, then backed out at the right time
3. America's poodle
4. Likes to spend holidays at dictator Berlusconi's villa in Tuscany
5. Failed as Middle East peace envoy - highly paid lecture tours, receiving honours from George@WHouse during Gaza War

Mick, do let us know the source of your facts on unemployment and the so called flooding of the UK with overseas workers. Exactly how many foreign workers and how many people they have put out of work in which professions please, over what period? Very interested to hear.

President Blair
Don't make me laugh we are in debt now mainly due to all the war mongering he has done.
Besides we should be having a referendum on Europe.
The Lisbon Treaty is one of the main reasons we have high unemployment now amongst brits as we cannot stop foreign workers flooding the country.
