However many innocent MPs were swept up in the public anger over fraudulent expenses claims, the suspicion remains that even those who didn't fiddle their claims knew what was happening and failed to raise the alarm.
On the question of MP's holidays, however many of them act with a sense of responsibility towards their electorate, it is no easy job checking up on this and it appears the Question Time panel expect us, the public to take it on trust, even after the scandal like that above.

Another series goes by without any representation from the BNP. We are told by MP's time and time again how fascist and racist they are, yet they're never giving the platform to defend these allegations.
I'm really beginning to wonder about the integrity of this so called impartial BBC.

Suggestion:
During the lay off, how about having a panel of 'Real' People series of Programmes?
Better still, how about a Real Person questioning Politicians, one on one?

The comment made to George Galloway about him being in a small party that will never get into power by a typicaly stupid "main" party minister has left me with a clear understanding of who i shall vote for next ! Respect, if only the "main" parties showed us a little. Thank you Mr D for providing a great show over the weeks.

George Galloway's Respect Party polled under 16,000 votes in the 2005 election. The BNP polled nearly one million votes in this year's Euro election.
The BBC is obligated to licence fee payers to maintain political impartiality. How then can it justify censoring from Question Time legitimate BNP MEPs who have demonstrated substantial public support, while featuring a minority politician like Galloway. It is indefensible.

When Questiontime comes back in September, maybe more time could be given to the program.
It is so popular that an hour is not enough. Surely some of the rubbish programmes and those that are full of bad language could be axed. It is wonderful to listen to the comments from the audience as well as letting us see what our MP's are like. I marvel at how intelligent some of the young people are and theiir confidence in asking questions or adding a comment is admirable.

It is the lies Parliment , puts out about any and every thing, which is the main cause of the unrest people feel, about Westminster.
We can not believe a word they say any more !
From the Gulf war, the credit crunch , public spending cuts, Mp's Expenses, to the Helicoptors , this week, when 1 second we have enough, but are sending some more at Xmas, to the Minister working all hours to find more. ASAP, if we have enough , we do not need to find more, if we are to get some ASAP, we do not.

its about time we got a new chairman..dimbleby is letting the panelists get away with murder..hoon never answered a question..he just gave party answers..the tory was no better and the rest just stood on their soap boxes..totally pointless arguements....get someone in who will actually make the panelists think/tell the truth.move paxman across to this show..guaranteed fireworks and a bit more honesty

I am rather fed up with the ignorance of the British public about the wider NATO involvement. Canadian forces have lost more men and women (and even a diplomat) per capita than Britain. Proof of Canada's committment to NATO.

And thank you Mr Dimbleby. Without saying question time or your chairmanship is perfect (because it isn't) I try never to miss the program which adds hugely to the democratic institutions in this country.
If only you could find a way to get a smoother running comment page encouraging more people to contribute!
