Sometime ago I was fascinated to see the BBC News coverage of Canadian Forces involved in frontline action in Afghanistan. I then wondered why it is that we now hear so little about the nationalities that make up the coalition forces in this theatre of operation. Perhaps this would redress the rather skewed view that Britain and America are acting in isolation whilst extending respect to the men and women serving in the Armed Service of other countries.

Could the panel explain how the government hopes to save £2.5 billion from the NHS budget by 2010, without cutting the service offered? Could they explain why tax payers who contribute to the coffers appear to get treated worse than those on benefits or minorities that have time to trouble the service and get treated faster? Which party is prepared to pay to provide the NHS to tax payers they deserve, as it was designed to do.OR give us the right to reduce/stop NI and provide our own cover.

surely there should have been a national contingency plan for an outbreak such as swineflu. if there is, what is it? if there isnt, then is this why we are seeing kneejerk ill thought out schemes that sound like they were thought up last week that could be open to fraud and corruption administered by untrained personnel?
