Have you played new Call of Duty game?
One of the most anticipated video games ever, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, has gone on sale. Have you had chance to play it yet?
More than 300 stores in the UK opened at midnight and many fans waited for hours to be one of the first to get their hands on the title.
It’s estimated that the first-person shooter could sell about 5 million copies around the world on its first day.
Did you go to one of the midnight store openings? Does the game live up to the hype? Were you up all night playing it? Do you prefer video games to movies?

Have to say the game itself is pretty good & the graphics have brought the best out of the 360 that I've seen in a game. BUT 'No Russian' is appalling , not very realistic and the game didn't need it at all. I think activision should do an update for the game that removes the chapter.

I have played it at my friend's.When I see such games being sold this well I just feel the people become more and more ignorant at what they play. Come on people, the game has no value, it doesn't offer challenge, doesn't require much skill, has no decent storyline, no deep characters, in other words it has no sense! People stopped playing games that have meaning in them, instead playing mainstream offered by industry giants. That's truly disappointing. Can't you see games could be artistic?

Like others i have encountered the whole banning from Microsoft due to modified consoles, this is great if prices were low, disc's were durable, but due to these instances these are problems that keep croping up,you pay £40-£50 per game, it scratches/damages, your back to square one buying the same game you already had which you'll probably get bored with, Microsoft have taken the Banning to the extreme this time and i believe its to boost their sales of Xbox's over Christmas

I have not yet purchased this game for one reason: price! my local game store is selling the new call of duty for £60, which imo is far too much to pay for a video game, and its prices like these which encourage people to chip their consoles.
However, as a programmer and game modder i fully understand the amount of work that goes into these games. Maybe if people stopped buying pirate copies prices would come down. However companies need to realise that not every pirated copy is a lost sale!

I have just read the 'Xbox gamer 'gutted' after cut off' article and I believe the BBC were wrong to publish this as it could be seen as condoning piracy. I would be the first to admit that game prices are too high, but this does not condone what is effectively stealing. If Raz were to buy the game legally, it would have cost him approx £45, now he is looking at £150 +, so no sympathy from me.

To all the people complaining about kids playing this game:-
The game is clearly an 18 Cert. This means that the game should only be played by adults. As I'm sure you all know, it is an offence to purchase a copy for anyone under the age of 18. Parents really need to get thier finger out and make sure that thier kids are not playing such games. You wouldn't leave them alone watching some graphic horror film would you? Any parent who does buy the game for thier kids should be arrested!

(To Mike from Blackpool)
I was LAMPOONING the people bashing video games in order to show how narrow minded and hypocritical they are.
"facepalm"
I'M ON YOUR SIDE!!!
Maybe it was TOO good an impression, which just goes to show how shallow and utterly predictable the anti video game brigade are.
Video games are the modern day societal scapegoat, the media and the politicians will find something else to whinge about before too long.

already played through the campaign, bit on the short side just like its predecessor, but its good while it lasts, and of course theres the multiplayer. when i played that level i was shocked, even disturbed by what my character was involved in. but I think people do need to be shocked sometimes, and the game does have an 18 certificate, which parents really should pay attention to
